Job Overview:
The Quality manager plays a crucial role in our Quality Assurance
department, contributing to the success of our new K-Rounds---
plant by planning, organizing, and executing programs that enhance
manufacturing quality, productivity, and capacity . As the Quality
Manager , you will support the rapid development of new products,
processes, equipment, and materials, including controls and
equipment capability identification. Your responsibilities will
span the entire supply chain, from working with suppliers on
material testing and controls to overseeing internal development
and process/product qualification. - Ensure high performance
results of your team by:

- Failure and Root Cause Analysis: Drive failure and root cause
analysis on electromechanical pod production line systems. -
- Collaboration: Work closely with Product, Engineering, and
Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) teams to identify and correct
issues underlying customer complaints/returns in a fast-paced
consumer product environment. -
- Corrective Actions: Ensure timely and accurate implementation
of corrective and preventative actions with OEMs. -
- Quality Leadership: Lead all aspects of site quality
preparation and manage quality checks on the operational
K-Rounds--- Line-1. -
- Quality and Food Safety Plans: Develop and implement quality
and food safety plans for the site. -
- Action Plans: Create action plans for out-of-spec products,
including process ingredients and equipment. -
- Validation: Lead validation of new flavors, ensuring compliance
with R&D specifications until ready for production. -
- Quality Control Plans: Design and develop data-driven Quality
Control Plans for testing and evaluation of raw, in-process, and
finished products. -
- Data Analysis: Develop methods for sampling, testing, analysis,
and reporting of data. -
- Quality Indicators: Develop site quality leading indicators and
processes to monitor and improve plant quality and culture. -
- Continuous Improvement: Create data collection, analysis, and
reporting methods, and effective KPIs/metrics to drive continuous
improvement. -
- Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership by
participating in and leading Process Capability Studies and FMEAs.

- Resource Management: Manage the quality of water, glycol,
alginate, CIP/COP equipment, and processes. -
- Customer Feedback: Work closely with Data Analytics, Triage,
Test Engineering, Design Engineering, and Customer Care teams to
assess customer complaints and reasons for returns. -
- Logistics Coordination: Lead quality interface with 3rd party
logistics (3PL) to coordinate inventory holds, rework, and
assessment of non-conformances. -
- Packaging Support: Support packaging category team to ensure
product packaging testing meets required standards. -
- Corrective Actions: Coordinate and execute corrective action
and preventive action (8D) processes. -
- Testing Methods: Evaluate current hardware and software test
methods, propose, and implement additional testing for current
product platforms. -
- Reporting: Present and review data/reports related to specific
issues to peers and executives. -
- Documentation: Establish standard procedure formats and
maintain a library of QC protocol documents for use by other teams.

- Relationship Building: Foster working relationships among
partners to promote quality, robustness, and reliability. -
- Travel: Up to 25% domestic and international travel required.

Requirements:
- Education: BS degree in Engineering or equivalent. -
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in the development and
production of consumer goods in a global setting. -
- Quality Role: Previous experience in a consumer product quality
role is highly desired. -
- Skills: Good working knowledge of statistical analysis and
problem-solving tools. -
- Supply Chain: Experience coordinating hardware or software
rework across a global supply chain. -
- Supplier Management: Experienced with supplier quality
management and auditing. -
- Interpersonal Skills : Effective interpersonal, communication,
planning, problem-solving, and organizational skills in a global
environment. -
- Mindset: Continuous improvement mindset. -
- Self-Motivation: Self-motivated and experienced in dealing with
ambiguity while performing critical project steps. -
- Project Management: Experienced in defining project
