About the Role:
As a CBRE Utilities Operator, you will monitor and maintain Utility
Operations for a 24/7 pharmaceutical manufacturing facility. In
order to accomplish this, the individual must be able to
effectively respond and communicate to key customers/system owners
and understand all aspects of equipment operation and
maintenance.
This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job
function. They are responsible for providing support, preventive
maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems.
What You'll Do:
What You'll Need
5+ years HVAC, Electrical, or related experience in industrial or
commercial environments.
Mechanical aptitude.
Should have some knowledge in 2 or more of the following:
--- Chillers
--- Cooling Towers
--- RO System
--- Deaerator
--- Steam Boilers
--- Hot Water Boilers
--- Air Compressors
--- Boiler Water Chemistry
--- Fire Water Loop Distribution
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and a minimum
of four years of related experience and/or trade school
training.
Utilities, maintenance and/or operations background with basic
computer skills and CMMS experience would be beneficial.
Employee must be able to work in confined spaces, work on
ladders/scaffolds, use PPE and lift 50 lbs.
Experience in a cGMP environment preferred.
Additional Information
--- Travel not required.
--- Lifting required (50 lbs).
--- Required to be on call.
--- 12 hour shifts - 223 Rotation
Ability to comprehend and interpret instructions, short
correspondence, and memos and ask clarifying questions to ensure
understanding.
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to
respond to common inquiries or complaints from clients, co-workers,
and/or supervisor. Ability to effectively present information to an
internal department and/or large groups of employees.
