Job DescriptionAtrium Health Charlotte is seeking a skilled Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Technologist to join our team.Key Responsibilities

• Perform MRI procedures in accordance with departmental protocols and standards.
• Operate MRI scanners and associated equipment with a high level of proficiency.
• Prepare patients for procedures, explain the process, and document patient information.
• Assist patients with physical limitations, and provide support during exams.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure patient care and safety.
• Maintain accurate records, and perform quality control checks on equipment.
• Stay up-to-date with industry developments, and participate in ongoing education and training.Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited two-year program in Radiologic or Nuclear Medicine Technology.
  • Active enrollment in ARMRIT or ARRT registry eligible program required.
  • ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology, or NMTCB for Nuclear Medicine with advanced registry from the ARMRIT or ARRT in MRI required within one year of hire.
