Job Description:

Join Atrium Health's team of dedicated healthcare professionals as a CT Technologist Weekend position. As a member of our Radiology department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest level of patient care and satisfaction.Responsibilities:

• Perform CT scans on patients in accordance with departmental protocols and standards.
• Operate CT scanners and associated equipment with a high level of proficiency.
• Prepare patients for procedures, including explaining the examination and documenting patient information.
• Interview patients to obtain a complete medical history and review relevant clinical information.
• Administer IV contrast as necessary and document administration in the Medical Administration Record (MAR).
• Evaluate the technical quality of images and consult with radiologists as needed.
• Perform basic patient care functions, including informing nursing personnel of any changes in patient condition.Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited two-year AMA program in Radiologic or Nuclear Medicine Technology.
  • ARRT certification in Radiology or NMTCB for Nuclear Medicine and advanced registry from the ARRT in CT scanning within one year of hire.
