Coordinates daily activities to include performing examinations and associated clerical duties.Essential Functions

• Performs and assists with radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures.
• Documents patient history and verifies patient identification.
• Prepares and administers contrast media as required.
• Consults with radiologists and other physicians as necessary.
• Selects and operates equipment for individual procedures.
• Maintains accurate records according to departmental standards.Physical RequirementsThis role requires strenuous physical effort, good communication skills, and ability to interact with patients and hospital staff. May be required to frequently stretch, bend, twist, squat, or kneel in operating radiographic equipment.Must be able to use hands for power gripping, speed work, and precision during equipment manipulation. Vision and hearing are necessary for distances up to 10 feet. May be exposed to various physical conditions throughout the workday.Education, Experience, and CertificationsRequires completion of a formal Radiology Tech Program and ARRT registration. As a new graduate, must be registry eligible with registry completion within 1 year of hire date.
