Job Description:

About the Role
A Radiological Imaging Specialist at Atrium Health Cabarrus will perform CT scans and assist radiologists/pas during invasive procedures. This position requires a high level of proficiency in operating CT scanners and associated equipment, as well as the ability to handle emergency situations.
Key Responsibilities

Examine patient requests and verify orders, referring questions to radiologists as needed.
Interview patients for medical history and assist with preparation for procedures.
Prepare and administer IV contrast according to departmental protocols.
Evaluate technical quality of images and consult with radiologists as necessary.
Perform basic patient care and inform nursing personnel of any changes in patient condition.
Operate radiology computer system and document contrast administration.

Requirements
A graduate of an accredited two-year AMA program in Radiologic or Nuclear Medicine Technology, with ARRT certification in Radiology and current CPR certification.
