Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our team at Atrium Health. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in radiologic technology and experience with CT scanning equipment.Key Responsibilities

• Perform CT scans and related procedures in accordance with departmental protocols and standards
• Operate CT scanners and associated equipment with a high level of proficiency
• Prepare patients for exams, including explaining procedures and documenting medical history
• Administer IV contrast and record contrast type and amount as needed
• Evaluate technical quality of images and consult with radiologists as necessaryRequirements
  • Graduate of an accredited two-year AMA program in Radiologic or Nuclear Medicine Technology
  • ARRT certification in Radiology or NMTCB for Nuclear Medicine, and advanced registry from the ARRT in CT scanning within one year of hire
  • CPR certificationWorking ConditionsThe CT Technologist will work in a fast-paced environment, rotating shifts as required, including call back, holidays, and weekends.
