Summary: Summers- Taylor is seeking a certified Crane Operator in
the Tri-Cities area! The Crane Operator will be responsible for
operating heavy crane equipment in a safe and appropriate manner at
highway and civil heavy construction projects. The Crane Operator
will also be a helping hand on the ground when not performing
normal operator duties. Minimum Qualifications: 3 or more years of
crane operating experience required, bridge construction
preferredClass A or B CDL license with clean driving record and
current DOT physical card requiredCIC, NCCO or equivalent
OSHA-approved crane certification required (LAT / TLL / TSS)Must be
able to climb ladders, stand and walk on uneven surfaces as well as
sit for long periods of time. Must be able to lift 50 poundsDuties
and Responsibilities:Operate crane to lift and move materials and
other objectsPlan all lifts, use capacity chartsPerform rigging
inspection and daily crane inspectionRespond according to hand
and/or verbal instructionsObserve the travel of all loads and take
appropriate action to avoid injury to personnel or damage to
propertyListen to warning alarms and respond accordingly, and dread
boom angle and drum rotation indicatorsUltimate responsible person
during crane or hoisting operations to ensure the pick is
safePerform daily inspections and report findings using effective
verbal and written communication skillsBe thoroughly familiar with
crane control functionsOperate crawler and hydraulic cranes for
bridge constructionKeep equipment clean and well maintained on an
