Be a safety champion within the team, lead and model safe behaviors and drive continued safety improvements.Responsibilities:Interprets blueprints, specifications, diagrams or schematics to determine appropriate welding process.Cut, fabricate, and weld metal parts to customer specificationsInspects completed welds to determine structural soundnessRequirementsRequired Skills/AbilitiesManage time efficientlyAttention to detailMust have a valid driver's license and the ability to safely operate a company vehicle on a daily basisEssential FunctionsMust be able to stand for the duration of an 8-10 hour shift.Must be able to lift up to 50lbsMust be able to visually inspect completed workMust be able to respond to audio promptsMust be able to communicate effectively with supervisors and coworkersEducation and Experience1-2 years' welding experienceAbility to demonstrate proficiency in MIG, TIG, and stick welding is preferred.American Equipment Holdings is an organization of leading overhead crane and hoist, industrial weighing, and below-the-hook service providers in the United States.
