Job Description:

A company is looking for a Claims Examiner to handle lost time claims and non-complex medical injuries under supervision.

Key Responsibilities

Review claims to determine compensability and issue workers' compensation benefits
Maintain contact with policyholders and injured workers, ensuring claims files are documented appropriately
Manage claims in accordance with company Best Practices and comply with state claims handling requirements

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

Four-year college degree preferred
One to three years of claims handling experience
Experience with liability and coverage issues
Adjuster license and/or certifications preferred
Multi-jurisdictional claims experience preferred
