Job Description:
The department has 8 beds and uses Athena and Meditech EMR
systems. Credentialing takes approximately 45 days, but temporary
providers can start sooner with a clean file. The facility is
located in Rutherfordton, NC. This 24-hour call-only position
involves ED call, inpatient consults, and rounding with no trauma
or APP support. On average, providers see 4 patients per shift,
handle 5 phone consults, and manage 2 admissions, with a 1:3 call
rotation. Dates Needed: Long weekends starting June, ongoing Call
Ratio/Schedule: 1:3 Case Load/PPD: 4 patients seen per shifts 5
phone consults 2 admissions Shift Type: 24-Hour Shift Assignment
