  • 36 Hours only/Weekend Schedule
  • Shift: 12 HR NIGHTS; 18:45 - 07:15; FRIDAY, SATURDAY & SUNDAY
  • Call Requirement: Yes; Frequency of On Call depends on patient census.
  • Float Requirement: YES
  • Patient diagnoses: primary cardiac and stroke unit.
  • Can titrate cardizem drips
  • Unit currently houses COVID positive patients
  • Unit Systems: Pyxis, Dimensions (EPIC), SBAR
  • Must pass EKG Testing prior to start for this specialty
    • Job Requirements
    • 2 years of experience in a challenging and busy unit with similar ratios/acuity
    • Willingness to take travel assignments
    • Ability to handle a 6 patient assignment in times of surge
    • Comfort with self-scheduling as needed
    • Must be comfortable with the use of special equipment such as Telemetry and pulse ox

      • 36 Hours only/Weekend Schedule
      • Shift: 12 HR NIGHTS; 18:45 - 07:15; FRIDAY, SATURDAY & SUNDAY

      • On-call requirement based on patient census
        • Unit Specific Information
        • Unit will accept contracts up to March 15, 2025
        • Typical patient turnaround is 78 to 90 patients a week
        • Special Procedures/Unit Details: Capable of handling the high sided (23 bed) COVID unit
        • Special Equipment: Telemetry, pulse ox High Flow O2, Non-Rebreather Mask, Bipap (only if chronic use), Blanketrol
        • Unit Systems: Pyxis, Dimensions (EPIC), SBAR
        • Orientation: 36 hours
