Inspire Health. Serve with Compassion.Job SummaryAs a Nurse Manager II at Prisma Health, you will oversee the 24-hour management of a specific patient care unit or service. Your responsibilities include developing, implementing, and interpreting policies; scheduling and supervising assigned employees; and ensuring the quality of care provided to patients and families. You will also be responsible for unit-based budgetary management and human resource management. This role requires a minimum of three years of RN experience, including two years in the appropriate area of nursing, and nursing management/supervisory experience is preferred.

• Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Supervise and direct assigned employees to ensure effective unit operations.
• Manage unit budgets and ensure efficient use of resources.
• Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to plan, develop, and monitor budgets and performance metrics.
• Coach, direct, and evaluate the educational and research activities of assigned staff.
• Monitor quality of care and implement performance improvement initiatives as needed.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accreditation standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.Requirements
  • Current South Carolina R.N. License
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing
  • Three years of RN experience, including two years in the appropriate area of nursing
