• Assist physicians with examinations, procedures, and other activities related to direct patient care, ensuring a seamless and efficient experience for our patients.
• Arrange for patient appointments for diagnostic testing, consults, referrals, and admission to the hospital, prioritizing timely and effective care.
• Monitor and maintain stock of medical supplies and equipment, ensuring that our facilities are well-equipped to provide the highest level of care.
• Document patient vital statistics and other encounter data into patient charts, ensuring that all required records are accurate and up-to-date.
• Obtain brief medical histories and chief complaints from patients, providing a solid foundation for our care.
• Call in prescriptions for patients according to physician orders, streamlining our medication management processes.
• Promote positive health behaviors and self-care skills through patient education, empowering our patients to take control of their health.
• Prepare exam rooms with the necessary instruments, supplies, and equipment, ensuring a clean and comfortable environment for our patients.
• Receive and return clinically related telephone calls, screening and forwarding those requiring physician action.
• Complete medical/physical history forms and other related information for insurance companies, ensuring seamless communication and coordination.
• Inform physicians of changes in schedule, maintaining open communication and ensuring a smooth workflow.RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you will need to have a completion of a LPN program recognized by the SC State Board of Nursing, with no experience required.
