Transform Patient CareJob SummaryAs a Registered Nurse at Prisma Health, you will provide clinical direction for all aspects of patient care in an acute inpatient setting. Your role will involve fostering patient-centered care, demonstrating clinical competency, and incorporating evidence-based practices into the nursing process. You will prioritize patient and unit needs, ensuring cost containment and quality improvement throughout your care delivery. Adherence to organizational policies, procedures, and regulatory agency requirements is also essential. With a focus on delivering exceptional care, you will work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient transitions and outcomes. This role requires flexibility, with shift, weekend, holiday, and on-call work. This position is bonus eligible. Key Responsibilities

• Nursing Assessment and PlanningCollect and analyze patient data to complete nursing assessments, utilizing standardized tools and policies. Identify patient priorities and develop individualized plans of care, collaborating with the healthcare team.
• Implementation and EvaluationDeliver direct care to assigned patients, adhering to established plans and protocols. Monitor quality of care, ensuring patient safety and incorporating evidence-based practices. Evaluate patient progress, revising plans as necessary.
• Patient Education and AdvocacyAssess patient learning needs and provide tailored education, promoting empowerment and self-care. Advocate for patients and families, ensuring their voices are heard and needs met.Requirements Associate's Degree in Nursing, BSN preferred. One year experience as a registered nurse. Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in South Carolina. In lieu of 1 year of registered nurse experience, will accept successful completion of the Prisma Health Nurse Residency Program.
