About the RoleWe are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Caregiver/Support Worker to join our team at Sevita. As a Caregiver/Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to live as independently as possible.Key Responsibilities:

• Provide assistance and strategies to individuals to enhance their daily living skills, including meal preparation and medication administration.
• Support individuals in community settings, including outings, field trips, medical appointments, and shopping.
• Assist with personal care tasks, such as personal hygiene, grooming, and bathing.
• Support individuals in achieving their developmental goals, including community participation, household budgeting, exercise, nutrition, and vocational responsibilities.RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you will need:
  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • A minimum of six months of experience in human services.
  • A valid driver's license in good standing.
