As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for coordinating daily activities, including performing examinations and associated clerical duties. • Performs and assists with radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures, ensuring accurate and timely completion of exams.
• Documents patient history and verifies patient identification to ensure accurate and reliable patient care.
• Confirms patient identification and prepares contrast media as required, maintaining a safe and sterile environment.
• Consults with radiologists and other physicians as necessary to ensure accurate diagnoses and treatment plans.
• Operates equipment effectively, demonstrating correct and adequate anatomic positioning skills to ensure high-quality images.
• Maintains accurate records, adhering to departmental standards and regulatory requirements.Physical RequirementsThis role requires strenuous physical effort while assisting patients, handling equipment, and monitoring supplies. You'll need good oral and written communication skills to interact with patients and hospital staff. The position may require frequent stretching, bending, twisting, squatting, or kneeling while operating radiographic equipment.Education, Experience, and CertificationsTo be successful in this role, you'll need a formal Radiology Tech Program completion from an AMA-approved facility, ARRT registration, and Basic Life Support for Healthcare Provider (BLS HCP) from AHA. If you're a new graduate, you must be registry eligible with registry completion within one year of hire date.Estimated Salary Range: $55,000 - $80,000 per yearThis salary range is an estimate based on the title, job description, and location.
